Job Description
EDAW Ltd, a world leader in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design & Planning, Land Economics and Environmental Services is currently seeking a Senior Landscape Designer to be based in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
• Develops design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope. Develops innovative solutions to problems.
• Serves as a technical design expert to the project, but generally works through staff to develop and execute design.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard landscape architecture techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications on projects.
• Plays a key role in projects, as a lead, project manager, or critical designer.
• Manages the presentation and report development for clients.
• Plays a key role in client management and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Strong portfolio of designs demonstrated creativity and innovation.
• 5-8 years’ experience as a landscape designer with project management experience including financial management responsibility.
• Bachelors in Landscape Architecture or closely related field required; Masters degree in Landscape Architecture preferred.
• Prior consulting experience strongly preferred, but non-consultant candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
• Fluency in English essential.
• Excellent communication and writing skills are a must.
• A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn more and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment.
