The investment budget of Dubai Lifestyle City, a residential project, has increased to almost Dh4 billion due to increased costs, officials said.The project, a part of ETA Star Group based in Dubailand, had originally budgeted Dh2.4 billion as its cost, which is now expected to cost between Dh3.5 to Dh4 billion. Khaleej Times and Arabianbusiness have reported on the change in the rules for visas that come into effect on July 29. The main changes are that hotels and travel agencies can apply for visas for all nationalities. The 34 countries that previously obtained 60 day free visas on entry will receive a 30–day visa with 100 dirham fee. Sponsorshop visas for 30 or 90 days are intended for family use.
