Architects who wish to enter a competition to create a tall emblem structure for Zabeel Park in Dubai must submit designs by August 31, Dubai Municipality has said.“So far 959 teams from 88 countries have submitted entries,” said Roxy Binno, an architect with the municipality. “And 31 teams from Dubai have submitted proposals.”

Zawya reports that Hydra Properties has launched its Twin Tower project at Jumeriah Village in DUbai. Each tower will be 32 storeys – one tower will be a exclusive residential apartments and the other tower will be a luxurious hotel. WOrk on the excavation has began and the project is expected to be finished in early 2010.
