Nakheel, the property developer owned by the Dubai Government, is setting up a supermarket chain in partnership with the French retailer Auchan.

“We will open 15 hypermarkets and 40 supermarkets across the Gulf Cooperation Council in the coming 10 years and will expand into other quality developer’s projects as well as our own,” Graham Dreverman, the group managing director of Nakheel Retail, said.
