United Arab Emirates and CANNES, France, May 14 - Dubai Studio City (DSC), a member of TECOM Investments, today leveraged the platform of the 61st Cannes Film Festival 2008 to unveil the components of its Village Centre, an over AED1.5 billion (US$420 million) multi functional entertainment attraction for industry professionals as well as the public at large.

Dubai’s dedicated free zone for media production and broadcasting industries also showcased its excellent overall infrastructure facilities at the much acclaimed global event for the motion picture industry, which opened on 14 May.
